I couldn’t think of a better session to share today than this patriotic family session. And this sweet family is near and dear to my heart! I have know this family for years now. Meet the Davis family-Beth and Derek and their three daughters and their families. I met their oldest daughter Becki in college and we have been best friends since! We have been in each other’s weddings, have supported each other through parenthood and everything in between.  And through our friendship I was able to meet her parents and siblings. Mr. and Mrs. Davis immediately welcomed me into their lives and their home. And they have always treated Daniel and I like family, almost like we were one of their children.

And if the three Davis girls, look familiar that is because I have photographed them all before! Like, I said this family is a part of our family. I have taken Emma’s senior pictures, Sarah and Thomas’s wedding pictures, Becki’s family pictures and even some anniversary pictures for Mr. and Mrs. Davis. It is always an honor to photograph their family/families!

Besides, this family being amazing and part of our on family I had to share their session today, they were perfectly dressed for the Fourth of July! They are a very patriotic family since Mr. Davis and Becki’s husband Jacob both served (currently serving) in the United States military. Plus, I must say, they all look really good in red, white, and blue!

Sarah and Thomas have been married for 2 years now and I can’t believe it.They brought their little pup all the way from Chicago to Burke, Virginia. The last time, I saw Emma she was just graduating high school and now she is in college. This family session was actually a gift for Becki’s parents. A session to document their growing family and their sweet grandchildren.
