It finally stopped raining and just in time for this Ft. Monroe senior portrait session. Ft.Monroe had so many different areas for a senior session-the casemate, green fields, old trees, historic buildings, and an amazing historical gate.
Meet Mackenzie! Isn’t she just gorgeous?!!! I had the opportunity to photograph and learn more about her during this session. Normally I only see her during the holidays, because she is actually part of my extended family!
Mackenzie is such a bright young lady. She is already touring different colleges looking for the right school for her. She has quite the interest in graphic design and sports medicine. I know she has already taken some courses in photography/graphic design and she runs track/cross country for her high school, so I am sure she will succeed at either of those fields or anything she puts her mind to!
I love photographing seniors! There is just something about being on the edge of something new and exciting. The future is bright and the possibilities are endless. This blue door happens to be perfect-it’s Mackenzie’s favorite color! She definitely has the model face down!! Just stunning! Isn’t she just gorgeous?! I love these old trees. I really love these historic parts of Ft. Monroe. This is the main gate to get within the casemate walls. And it is such a fun juxtaposition of modern with the old. Ft.Monroe also has a beach, which happens to be Mack’s favorite place to relax and hang out. If you look directly behind her towards the left, you can see a rainbow! Definitely a favorite! This was such a fun Ft. Monroe senior portrait session! Mackenzie’s personality just shines right through. You can tell she loves being on the beach. Another favorite! I love that you can see her class ring.
