I work with Serve the City: Peninsula. I have had lots of questions about what I am doing now.
And I am sharing all about it today!
I am the Communications and Public Relations Director for Serve the City: Peninsula.
Serve the City is a non-profit organization that transforms lives and communities by mobilizing volunteers to do acts of kindness for those in need.
(Serve the City is an international organization. I work for the Peninsula branch).
So…what do I do exactly?
I do a lot of emails, reaching out to churches and organizations asking for volunteers and support. (Anyone want to volunteer or financially support the Serve the City??!!)
I explain who we are and what we do to the public. I run the social media accounts, the email lists, and the blog.
I also make a lot of graphics, flyers, and printed products to share all about Serve the City.
There is a lot of overlap between my business owning career and this new position. And this new job is part-time, so I can do both 🙂
Serve the City is all about serving those who are in need in our city.
