Earlier this month, Daniel and I were honored to be a part of the Care Net Pop-up Church 4 Life Event. We were volunteer photographers but also sponsors of this event. We believe in families and life, and this was one way we could serve our local community at-large.
If you are unfamiliar with the organization Care Net, they are a non-profit on a mission to bring practical help and hope to women facing unplanned pregnancy decisions on the Peninsula. They provide the help and hope women need to choose life for their baby from counseling, ultrasounds, and parenting support – all for free.
They are a wonderful non-profit organization supporting our community at large!
Teenagers of all ages were there celebrating life! They stood on the sidewalks surrounding the street and driveway to Coastal Community Church holding up signs and cheering as people came to the event.
They truly set the mood for the event as a celebration for life, and how we can serve local moms in the area!
Churches and organizations came and celebrated the event with tents, giveaways, doughnuts, and cute signs!
It took a lot of planning, organizing, and volunteers to make this event happen! And I did want to give them all a “shout out” for all their hard work in making this event happen!
This event was a family-fun event! Kids of all ages were playing, coloring, and having a great time supporting Care Net.
This event was filled with games and fun times, but also worship. And it was a something special to hear in-person! Over 20 local churches were represented at this event, and it was amazing to hear God’s people singing out all together in worship to him.
Care Net reached OVER their goal and raised over $180,000!!! I have a feeling next year they are going to have bigger goals 🙂 *If you have never financially given to them, you don’t have to wait until their big event. Visit their website to learn more about how you can donate and/or volunteer.
Performer Legin was the Emcee for the event and he even performed! And he was an amazing, passionate performer in sharing the gospel in every word he spoke. (You really should go check him out!)
It was amazing to hear a sermon and prayer from different pastors in the local area. It was a wonderful example of God’s people coming together.
Crazy-X volunteered their sound set-up and performed for this event! What a generous gift!
Many Thanks to the Care Net staff for planning such a success event!
