We started this week with a Sunrise Linen themed wedding. And what a way to start this week – filled with love and hope for the future. During this COVID-19 situation most couples are choosing love during this time. They are choosing to celebrate the great things in life like love, marriage, and hope.
And that is actually what Lauren and Kyle chose to do. They were married during a global pandemic, with their closet family members in attendance, and it was beautiful. It was a beautiful moment to be surrounded by people who love and care for each other even during the toughest of times.
Lauren had her mother’s wedding dress altered to fit her, which was a beautiful family connection. It had such timeless details like lace and petite buttons down the back. Lauren paired her unique dress with a pair of blue flats, as her “something blue” and a classic pearl necklace. Kyle wore a blue linen suit and a floral tie perfect for their outdoor, waterfront Spring wedding.
Lauren and Kyle were married on Lauren’s mother’s property overlooking the waterfront in Weems, Virginia. Lauren’s sister-in-law made a gorgeous floral circle arch to frame them as they said their vows. And their intimate wedding ceremony was filled with just family. And as simple as it was, it was beautiful. Tears of joy and happiness ran down everyone’s cheeks as they said their vows and everyone closest to them got to truly see, hear, and experience every special moment along side of them.
Such a special and unique wedding dress! This floral bouquet was just amazing! Lauren’s sister-in-law designed this bouquet just for her. This moment is always so emotional. That moment when the bride is ready to walk down the aisle. As Lauren was preparing with her mother and bridesmaids, Kyle was preparing for the big moment with his family. This blue linen suit and floral tie was just perfection for their sunrise linen wedding! How gorgeous is this ceremony site! Lauren’s sister-in-law made this gorgeous floral ring especially for them! And what a gorgeous view looking out over the water. Their dog was their ring bearer and it was the most adorable thing ever!I love this moment, an overflowing moment of happiness. This was not our first wedding to be affected by COVID-19, but it is still strange for us to see a view like this-just a few people instead of a large crowd. Though this intimate wedding of just a few people was special. It was all very close family. Everyone there had a very close relationship with Lauren and Kyle and that was a beautiful site to see. Hooray! They are married! I love these bridal portraits of Lauren. She recently finished her Doctorates degree from MCV/VCU and is about to start her residency within the dermatology field. It was only fitting to have some fun bridal portraits with a parasol. How adorable is this puppy?!!! He is just too cute!!! Oh my goodness!! I just love this picture! Another favorite! Just so much joy! Definitely a favorite! Lauren, your smile is just so wonderful! So much joy! They are just adorable! I love just love this one! This might have been a smaller wedding, but they had everything planned – even a space for their first dance! Stringed lights were hanging from tree to tree to make the perfect dance floor!Isn’t this just a lovely table setting! I love that they had a gorgeous set-up for their intimate reception! Congratulations again to Lauren and Kyle! And I just had to add this fun last picture of the couple with Lauren’s sister, Sarah! Sarah did such an amazing job serving them during this wedding! She was helping with anything and everything to make this day as perfect as possible for them!
