With Spring around the corner, this is the perfect outdoor family session to share. I photographed this sweet extended family last Fall, but like a lot of of family sessions (last Fall) we didn’t blog it because those sessions are often used for Christmas cards.

We are now sharing this sweet family’s outdoor session.  Meet the Lotz family! We met at the Lion’s Bridge area, near the Mariners’ Museum, in Newport News, Virginia. We had golden sunlight, crisp air, and adorable smiles from the little ones!

It was such an honor to photograph their multi-generation family! The parents know that time is constantly moving and that their little ones don’t stay little forever. They know the importance of slowing down and photographing this season of life.

Look at these grandparents and their grand-babies! The cousins together! I love photographing each individual family unit and seeing everyone’s personalities! So much joy wrapped up into a smile!I love outdoor family sessions during the Fall and Spring!
