Christopher Newport University is an amazing university in Newport News, Virginia – it is highly ranked academically, and it has a gorgeous campus (perfect for Spring Family Sessions!) and a lot of school spirit. One thing most people don’t think about is that it is also a great place to meet your spouse! (bahahah!) Daniel and I met and fell in love at CNU and so did Matt and Sara. Matt and Sara both attended CNU as undergraduates and graduates receiving their Masters’ in teaching. They grew their minds as well as their love. This place means a lot to them and it was of course the perfect location for their Spring family session!

Matt, Sara, and their little boy Joshua met me at Christopher Newport University for their Spring Family Session. Joshua is older now, so he is really starting to enjoy the campus – walking around, climbing the stairs and of course enjoying the rocking chairs! And if Joshua looks a little bit familiar from my social media accounts, that is because I spent about 2 months watching this little guy! I had three under the age of three in my household for a little awhile and all I can say is that I am praying for mommas in that situation! Three under the age of three was a lot at times, but Joshua was a very content little guy and loved to run around our house with Kylie! We actually did this photo shoot right after I stopped watching Joshua and Sara started her summer break!

I just love Spring Family Sessions! Christopher Newport University has these white rocking chairs which just so happen to be perfect for family sessions!Sweet snuggles!What a sweet family!There is nothing like a good snack to make a toddler happy!
