Upset about the Superbowl? Or maybe you stayed up late watching the game? Well, these pictures are sure to bring you some joy this morning! There is nothing sweeter (and calming) than a newborn session. I met the Noppen family at their home in Yorktown, Virginia to document their sweet little girl, Emma and their new stage of  life as a family of 3!

I met Ryan and Sarah Noppen at church a few years ago and now I actually work with Ryan (or really, he is my boss!). Ryan is the principal at Calvary Classical School in Hampton, Virginia, where I teach K4.  And I was delighted when they asked me to photograph their sweet little girl !

They decorated such a sweet nursery! With gray walls, pink accents and a safari theme-the room was perfect for their little girl!  Little figurines of elephants, giraffes were on the shelves, and sweet Bible verses and sayings filled the walls. It had everything perfect for a little girl’s nursery! These blocks are so cute! I can just picture Emma playing with these a few months from now! I love this little outfit-tutu skirt and a personalized shirt! I love this personalized headband and swaddle! So adorable! It was actually warm enough for us to go outside for some family portraits! Emma did such an amazing job during this shoot! Doesn’t Sarah look amazing for just having a baby!!!Of course, their sweet pup had to be in a few pictures! I love this shot! There is just something special about a Dad holding his daughter.
