I love the Fall time! The crisp air, the changing leaves, and sweet family sessions! I met this family years and years ago at our church, but back then their little girl was a baby in the church nursery and now she is 4 years old! I couldn’t believe it when they told me their kiddos’ ages! Where does the time go? We were able to catch up our lives briefly and take some family pictures at Hidden Pond Nature Park in Springfield, Virginia. This park was a perfect location for a mini session – it had beautiful light, a walking trail, a playground, and of course a pond.

It was so nice to  visit with some old friends and see how much their kids have grown. It is also amazing how much can change in such a brief period of time. Families grow. Children change. And I think that is why I love family sessions. I get to see the growth, the new life, and the joy that families have together. I just love this sibling hug! They love each other so much!Hidden Pond Nature Park has such gorgeous backgrounds! I love the sunlight coming through the trees.
