Fall Outdoor Winery Wedding

It was the perfect day for a outdoor Fall wedding at the Harvest House at the Lost Creek Winery in Leesburg, Virginia. And this wedding was special to Daniel and I because we are friends with the bride and groom! It is always an honor and so touching when our friends want us to be a part of their wedding day experience. We have known the bride for many years know! Catie was  part of our close friend group in college and actually was like an extra roommate to the girls that I lived with the last two years of college. And we met Andrew last year when he visited our home to meet us and to see the university Catie attended.  We couldn’t be happier for their relationship and marriage.

Catie and Andrew love to visit wineries and after visiting a few myself this year for weddings, I can understand why they decided to get married at the Harvest House at the Lost Creek Winery in Leesburg. The venue had a beautiful house with white columns and a porch wide enough to host an entire wedding party for a ceremony. And it was so sweet to watch these two get married outside this gorgeous house. Catie wore a beautiful wedding gown with lace overlay and the most perfect little buttons down the back. The dress looked like it was made just for her! Catie actually wore cowgirl boots under her dress, which was so fun and perfect for an outdoor wedding! The bottom of her boots were blue for her something blue! How cute is that! Catie also had a gorgeous bracelet and a new set of earrings (a gift from Andrew!) to complete her bridal look! She looked gorgeous!  And Andrew wore a blue suit and wine-colored bow tie, which complimented their winery-themed wedding. They looked perfect!

Their friends and family gathered to watch these two say their ” I Do’s”. And I have never seen so many people in the bridal party cry during the ceremony-bridesmaids and groomsmen were crying! It was so special to see how excited and supportive their bridal party was of their marriage. Catie and Andrew also did something very unique during their ceremony. Instead of doing an unity candle or blending sands, they blended wines and made one new wine! Just like they are now one family and inseparable.

After the ceremony, we moved into the vineyards for some gorgeous portraits during the sunset!  The sun was shinning and casting these beautiful yellow and oranges colors, which you couldn’t have asked for a more perfect sunset during the Fall! As the sun was going down, everyone moved in the reception hall to dance the night the way! All of their families, young and old hit the dance floor, which was so fun to everyone celebrating with them!

It was a perfect wedding day and we couldn’t be more excited for Catie and Andrew! Congrats to the newlyweds!

What a beautiful dress! And I love that she had a personalized hanger! Andrew gave Catie a new pair of earrings just for their wedding day! Catie’s mom was so excited to be watching one of her little girls get dressed in her wedding gown. Catie, you are so gorgeous!Andrew and Catie had a beautiful outdoor ceremony. It was the perfect Fall weather, the sun was shining and their was a crispness in the air.I have never seen this before, but Catie and Andrew mixed wines to make a new blend of wine. The wine is now a new wine, just like they are a new family! They are married!! woohoo! What a fun bridal party!Catie, you are so beautiful! These sunset colors were just perfect for their Fall winery wedding!!! A favorite! They were so excited to be married! By the end of the evening it was starting to get cool, so Andrew gave his wife his jacket!Ahh! Love it!They are just so adorable!Another favorite! The Lost Creek Winery had a beautiful venue for their reception. And I love that they carried the winery and Fall-theme throughout all the different parts of their wedding-even their centerpieces. This cake was two different flavors and they were both delicious!I love the special dances! Toast time! Catie’s parents, the maid-of-honor, and the best man all gave speeches. The flower girls danced the night away!A few guys had quite the dance moves! The Anniversary dance is such a special dance! And this older couple has been married over 60 years!! How amazing is that?!Congrats again to Catie and Andrew! Vendor Love:
