Christopher Newport University is where Chris and Becky met and fell in love. It was a great choice for them to do a Christopher Newport University family session. As students they studied, read, and were a part of the Intervarsity Christian Fellowship Organization.  They not only received their degrees in teaching, but also found their soul-mate, the one whom their heart yearns for. Christopher Newport University in Newport News, Va is such an important part of the Chappell family story, that they decided to tour the campus (now completely changed from when they were students) with their children.

What a blessing it must be to show your children not only where you studied, where you fell in love, but also where you grew in your faith. When they book their session, we knew Christopher Newport University was going to be the perfect spot for their family portrait session.

CNU offers so many different location options for photographing their family, that we walked around campus, admiring the long stone staircases, the towering columns, and the brick arcades and having fun!

Meet the Chappell family – Chris, Becky, Noelle (almost 7), Ezekiel (5). We have known this family for years! Believe it or not Chris actually officiated our wedding! And we have had the pleasure of hanging out with them a few times over the years and those times have always been a blessing to us!
