Last week, I blogged about Our family of TWO and the launch of a new series about our story. Throughout our journey, other people’s stories have become a part of ours. We have met other couples and families and have memories we will never forget.

We have been invited to a rehearsal dinner because we were in town for the couple’s wedding and actually sat with the groom’s parnents the entire evening! They were incredibly welcoming to us. They even introduced us proudly to all of their family members as the photographers. Last Fall, at a wedding we started talking causally to the bride and groom at their reception and found out that the groom attended CNU for a year at the same time we were there. That the bride and groom went to Captain’s Ball the same year we did. What a crazy small world!

And then we have been on an engagement shoot where the couple invited us to join them at their favorite restaurant for a meal. Another engagement shoot the couple had traveled from out-of-town for their engagement shoot and had a couple hours of spare time, so of course we invited them to pizza and then our home to watch Youtube videos (our secret guilty pleasure!).

The weddings and the engagement shoots are all great memories, but the meals we have shared and the time we have spent with our couples and their families have been our favorite moments and why we love what we do!
