Just check out this adorable family! These boys are in two different life stages with early elementary and toddler-hood. These season may seem long (especially when you are in the thick of it), but they do go by quickly! And these parents know that! They know that in a blink of an eye these two boys with be in middle school and high school! They made a choice to document and cherish these seasons with family photographs!

I know this sweet family from my days of being a teacher! This sweet boy was actually in the class next to mine, but our classes (K5 and K4) often did activities together. And that is how I met his mother, who additionally is super sweet! She was even a part of a group of ladies that planned a group baby shower for me at the school.

We all met at the Lion’s Bridge near the Mariners’ Museum in Newport News. It was the perfect location for these boys to run around and be kids. And it allowed for some amazing sunlight over the James River peeking out through the trees!
