It was such a joy to photograph this Hampton wedding. And it had a lot of emotions for us, as it was our very last wedding. Amanda and Nathan will forever hold a spot in our business history as being the last wedding we photographed; it was so bittersweet.
Amanda and Nathan met in college through RUF (Reformed University Fellowship). They started hanging out in the same friend group and as the year went by their friendship and relationship grew. And as they say, the rest is history. Last week they were married in front of their friends and family.
Amanda had gorgeous details from timeless gold jewelry, to stunning flowers. And her choice in wedding colors were just perfection. (Wait until you see the sage green combinations!). And Amanda’s bridesmaids were just so sweet and you can tell that they all love her and are so excited for her.
Nathan and his groomsman were so much fun. You can tell those guys were all very close friends.
Amanda and Nathan were married at Calvary Reformed Presbyterian Church. Their ceremony was filled with corporate worship, which was a delight to be a part of. There is nothing like listening to a group of people sing hymns at a wedding. They exchanged their vows and were married! (yay!)
Their reception was filled with beautiful details from gold plates to fresh flowers. And the best part was watching everyone enjoy themselves as the celebrated the new marriage of Amanda and Nathan. Their families danced, friends laughed, and it was a joyous time.
I love Amanda’s details!
The dress was just stunning!
These are all such sweet moments!Amanda did a Daddy-daughter first look. And those moments always get me into tears.

Amanda’s flowers were a perfect color match to those bridesmaid dresses.

There is nothing like walking through life with your best friend by your side!
These Fall colors are just perfection! The Fall colors showed up just for their wedding!

Their flowers were stunning!
They had such simple but stunning centerpieces!
Their first dance as husband and wife!!!!
The Mother-Son dance was so special to watch. You could tell Nathan’s mom was emotional about her son getting married. As a mom of a little boy, I could understand her emotions!!
Everyone had such beautiful heartfelt toasts to the bride and groom!
Such a sweet cake!
Everyone had a great time dancing and mingling!
Amanda’s sister caught the bouquet during the bouquet toss!
The longest married couple at their wedding!
I love this bouquet toss! How fun is that sunlight coming into the room making a spotlight right over the girls!
Congrats newlyweds!!
