Ft. Monroe Fall family session are just perfection!  Meet the Shirk family! They have been friends of ours for years now and it is always so sweet to photograph their sweet family! The Shirks have been a part of our lives since before we had kids. And I remember when their kids were little or even before they were born! It has been weird to watch time go by so fast in our lives but also others lives! It seems like just yesterday, I was attending a baby shower for Suzy when she was pregnant with Lucy! Time has been moving by so fast and their children have changed and grown.

It has been a privilege to photograph their family over the years and to document the growth!

This year we met at Ft. Monroe for their Fall family session. Ft. Monroe has such gorgeous architecture-stone walls, case mate, bricks, and white historic houses. And the sunlight over the case mate is just stunning! I can’t wait to share this beautiful family at this historic location!

I can’t believe it was already been a few years since then! This picture! He is just too cute!Bahah! When you have a toddler!These two! They have become such sweet friends with us over the last several years! It is always an honor to photograph their family! I just can’t believe how old Chapman is now! Where did the time go?
