I am so excited to share this Historic Yorktown Engagement session with you! Jacob and Grace’s engagement session is so dear and near to my heart! Not only do these two visit our church often, but Grace used to babysit our daughter, Kylie, when she was a baby! And Grace is also one of my dear friend’s youngest sister! I can’t believe that she is getting married now! We are so honored to be a part of their wedding day!
Jacob and Grace met at Christopher Newport University and started dating two weeks before graduation, followed by two months long distance. But, almost 2 years later, Jacob proposed!! (yay!). Jacob’s proposal is so sweet! They drove around Richmond, sharing their favorite memories together, stopped and visited meaningful spots along the way. At the end of their journey, they visited a local park, where a good friend of theirs set-up champagne, at the end of a bridge, which lead the an island in the middle of a pond. Jacob shared his heart and asked Grace to marry him! So sweet! So sweet!Historic Yorktown has so much to offer for engagement sessions-white fences, the beach, and architectural features like the Coleman bridge.I love this one!Such a gorgeous ring!I just love these beach pictures! Look at that happiness! We can’t wait for their wedding! I love engagement sessions at Historic Yorktown! We choose Historic Yorktown for their engagement session because it was where they had their first kiss! I love that they choose a location that is special to them!
