It was a perfect Fall day! The sun was shinning and there was a breeze in the air, making Elizabeth and Guy’s outdoor blush and mauve wedding one to remember! Elizabeth and Guy were married on the Tyson family’s property out in Cobbs Creek (Mathew’s County, Va.) and it was a special atmosphere. The Tyson family’s lake house holds a special place in Elizabeth’s memories and now Elizabeth and Guy will have their own unique memory!
Elizabeth wore a elegant, flowing wedding gown. The gown had beautiful texture with lace and beading and A-line skirt that just glowed in the sunlight. Guy wore a classic suit with a mauve tie that perfectly complimented their wedding colors and the outdoor venues. Both of them had family heirloom wedding bands to wear, which is so sweet! Elizabeth’s ring was a ring that belonged to her grandmother, which was passed to her mother and now it is Elizabeth’s to wear as a wedding band! And Guy had is grandfather’s band, who he is actually named after. I just love the tradition and the tenderheartedness of family heirlooms.
Right before the ceremony, Guy and Elizabeth had a tender moment to themselves with a First Look. They had the opportunity to hug and kiss each other before the ceremony. It is always a beautiful moment to watch! After their first look, it was time to get married! Their friends and family gathered, facing the romantic back-drop of the water and watched as they celebrated the sanctity of marriage.
Their family and friends enjoyed an evening of celebration and joyful moments as Elizabeth and Guys danced their first dance together, and went through the traditional wedding moments of cake cutting, garter toss and bouquet toss. The evening was filled with laughter, dancing and an amazing environment provided by their live band. It was definitely a night to remember! Congratulations again to Elizabeth and Guy!
