This Alabama lifestyle newborn session is so near and dear to my heart! I have been telling my best friend for years that I was going to come visit her. And I finally did! I flew out to visit her and her sweet family in Ft. Rucker, Alabama! And I had the opportunity to try out my skills at a lifestyle newborn session.

My best friend, Becki, and I were college roommates at Christopher Newport University in Newport News, VA. And even though our lives have changed – we have married, moved, started careers, and had children we have still stayed in touch. Unfortunately, we live states away (we always have lived states away from each other), so we only get to physically see each other about once a year. Becki has always flown back to Virginia to visit because her family lives here. And over the years I have always told her I would come visit her. Well life happened, she moved again, we moved, careers started, Kylie was born, there was always an excuse not to fly out of the state. When she told me she was pregnant with her second baby I made a decision that I was going to go visit and help her out. And that is exactly what I did!

As a lifestyle newborn session we decided to take pictures of them in their home. Becki and Jacob had the perfect decor in their bedroom to take family pictures-their wedding vows, a Bless our Home sign, and a Love sign. And their family is full of love and joy for their sweet baby girl.
