Wedding Day Timeline- Part 3 | Wedding Wednesday

Get excited! Today’s blog is going to help you with planning time for details and time for you to get ready. If you have been following along with this series, the first blog post helped you plan the amount of time needed for your ceremony and family portraits. Thesecond blog post helped you plan the amount of time for portraits.

The next part is planning time to photograph all those little details that you have chosen for your wedding day, like your shoes, jewelry, invitations, flowers, etc. As a bride, you have spent months to even a year planning your wedding, from the smallest of details, this is the time to photograph and cherish all your hard work. I would suggest planning 45 minutes for detail shots and 45 minutes for getting ready pictures. You should start details and getting ready photographs about 3 ½ hours before your ceremony time.

As a bride you want to take your time getting ready. You want to remember every moment from buttoning your dress to putting on your jewelry.

Here is a quick review of the amount of time you will need on your wedding day:
Wedding Timeline:
-Details- 45 minutes
-Getting Ready- 45 minutes
-“First Look”- 1 hour (at least 2 hours before the ceremony)
-Bridal party pictures- 25 minutes
-Ceremony-30-45 minutes
-Family Portraits-30 minutes

Stay tuned for the next part about reception planning!
