Behind the Scenes 2018 | Weddings

This is the blog post everyone gets excited for….the Behind the Scenes pictures from 2018 wedding season!!! We traveled from Norfolk, Virginia to Williamsburg, Virginia, to multiple locations in Northern Virginia to photograph our wonderful couples! Daniel and I love serving our couples and we have a blast shooting together! Be prepared for pictures of the back of my head, my baby bump, and Daniel standing in to test lighting. We can’t wait for the start of the 2019 wedding season!

Thought I just take photos, I also carry beautiful bouquets and wedding veils! This was an amazing bridal party and I have no idea what I am saying here! I love capturing portraits!I appreciate that I have a tall husband, especially when it comes to creative dress ideas! Daniel not only hangs wedding dresses, but also helps will moving wedding cake tables! Worried about the little moments of a wedding day? Don’t worry I am here to help! I am telling my bride how to throw her bouquet! Oh and of course we help with the cake cutting process, too!I spy a photographer mixed in with the groomsmen! This is from our first Fall wedding! Don’t worry I am not actually using my flash 😉 We had just been inside! Testing out lighting right before the First Look! (I am also pregnant in this photo, though you can’t really tell!)We took bump pictures as we tested out lighting..hahaha (our poor 2nd child!) I’m explaining the garter toss ! My handsome husband with a gorgeous wedding cake! Details, details, details! Poor Daniel! He is always the subject to test light!Another bump picture! My poor bride had a problem with her train during the reception and I, along with a bridesmaid, were trying to fix it. Portrait time! And of course more cake cutting! Portraits in the cold and drizzly weather! My couple was so wonderful to stand outside! That random thing off to the side is a clear shower curtain. If it is wet outside, I often get my bride to stand on the shower curtain to protect her dress. Yes, you caught us dancing! The last wedding of the year, I shot a wedding for our dear friends, and Daniel was a groomsmen. We had to sneak in one quick dance! Last bump picture from the wedding season! And one of those moments when you turn around and your husband snaps a picture of you!
