Noland Trail Newport News Engagement

You guys are going to love this Noland Trail Newport News Engagement Session. Their love story sounds like a movie script! Mike was leaving a local bar in City Center, Newport News and Amanda was about to enter it. They exchange glances. Can’t you just see this scene in a movie?? Amanda never actually made it into the bar because a mutual friend stopped them both at the door. They were introduced and Mike suggested going somewhere else because of the  crowds. And Amanda with her friends followed. And well, they have been together for nine years! You just never know where and when you are going to met your future spouse.

That bar were they met became their “spot”. They would hang out there and Mike would propose there. Although, the original bar isn’t there anymore, the building is still there and they will always have those memories tied to that spot, which is quite sweet. And the City of Newport News is a place dear to them since that is where they live and where they will get married next year! So, of course a natural choice for their engagement session was the Noland Trail, part of the Mariners’ Museum and Park

This sweet couple had to be extra flexible and reschedule their session twice due to storms, but as soon as we saw a change for the perfect sunlight we met up. And I am so glad that we were able to have so much sunlight! The Noland Trail actually wasn’t that busy during the time we were there, which made this session even more magical! Anyone who knows that trail, knows that it is always full of people running and walking. We were able to walk part of the trail and go to the Lion’s Bridge to catch some of the sunset!

Aren’t they adorable?! Amanda wore this beautiful, blue, A-line dress, that had pockets and Mike wore a plaid shirt to compliment her! What a perfect pair! Their outfits were perfect for the nature trail, since the blue popped off all the green. And they were good outfit choices for the hot summer in Newport News! These guys had to deal with heat, humidity, and bugs but they still had smiles the entire time! I just loved this Noland Trail Newport News Engagement Session! It was amazing to have a section of the Noland Trail to ourselves! Only a few people passed us, which is so rare during the summer at the Noland Trail. One of my favorites! This ring! Can we say, “wow”! The ring has this extra blue band and a hidden gem! It’s just gorgeous! We were able to catch a little bit of the sunset through the clouds! A little pop of orange is shining through the trees! Another favorite!
